Ray Carlton - Superfine
How does a boogish musicproduction from Germany sound in 1987? Maybe incredibly obscure and bad. Here we have a proof of it. Everything's included: Weird vocals (from i think : invited singers from the US), bad percussion combined with low budget horns and FM-Piano out of the midi-expander. Nevertheless, it's worth listening (and collecting) it! Recorded and mixed at Europasound Studio, Bad Homburg. Produced by Carsten Reeck. Released on "Rekord". The last and final collection by swedish designer Rickard Lindqvist is now availble from their online store. There wil be no more collections produced with the Rickard Lindqvist label.

Our heading "Three Records to go for!!!" is meant to highlight you some records, mostly newer ones, that turned out into the bleepgeeks music radar through utterly coincidences, well researched record hunts or any other fortunate circumstances. The stuff we introduce can be dance music, comedy, non-dance music, originals, reissues, bootlegs or limited pieces, we don't separate!
In some cases we just liked the Cover of that Record, sometimes we made a mispurchase and sometimes our mandibles came off because of the music which was carved into the rills!
We won't do any reviews, puffing these records up to holy grails or slam them into wax garbage!
It's just made for you to (hopefully) discover new music and new sleeves! We wish you a lot of fun while finding these records at your local record shop on the streets or in your world wide virtual reality through clicking on to your favourite record stop!

B. Blase - Shake It Now (1984)
Here we have an offering from another stop in the apparently neverending journey through the world of disco and electronic music from Italy. It's B. Blase with Shake it Now. It's useful, it's not so expensive, not so rare maybe due to this, but it makes the collector happy! I've chosen the Instrumental version to share with you. No special reason, i like both versions.

Jerzzey Boy - The Lost Cuts E.P.
I just came across this video by pure accident. It's showing two guys sitting in a studio, one of them is playing some tracks. Nothing too special up to that point. The real interesting piece of news about this recording is that one of the guys seems to be Jerzzey Boy, a renown early nineties House producer from the New Jersey movement. Looks like the Jerzzey Boy is back in the game after so many years! Oh boy, those tracks that are played in the video! Essential sounding Garage and New Jersey House sounds, with infectious grooves and deep basslines! You rarely hear things like this in current productions. They say the tracks will come out soon...we're waiting wistfully!!!

Serious Groove is back!
One of our long term main sources for inspiration was the Serious Groove Youtube Channel, hosted by a guy from Zurich in Switzerland, calling himself Carlo. I don't know why but not too long ago his account was suspended. Just right now i found out that he is back as Truth Vibrations with great house grooves and extraordinary eschantological messages and links. A wild mix of music and religion, kinda scary. Disco not Disco Deutschland
Yes, it's true. Germany had it's own definition of "Disco" on the TV. Anchorman Ilja Richter showed Pop, Rock and German Schlager in a great mix from the beginning of 1971 to the end of 1982 at the "ZDF". Not specific, not experimental and mostly big names like "ABBA" or "Udo Jürgens". Everything, but not good Disco-Music. What a mess!Jesper Dahlbäck - The Persuader (1997)
A Classic out of many classic releases on swedish House and Techno Label Svek which sadly closed down its work in the early 2000's. This is a really straight forward produced cut, extremely predestinated for dark clubs with powerfull flashlights! Let's roll down into our favourite basement!

We really feel lucky to have hands on this rare video of our favourite ambient aeronaut False Mirror from Ulm! He is a damn cool guy with the right sense for dark soundscapes and sweet droning atmospheres in his music. Make a cup of hot green tea, take a seat on your most comfortable sitting accommodation, let the music flow and enjoy the video!
