Gene Anderson - Party People and others

Sickness is my weakness. Gene Anderson with Oliver Anderson, Jr alias "the Computer People Communicaters" show how funky music can be in the 80s. Jammin', weired effects, foolish vocals, some taste of p-funk, electric. Guitarsolo by Eddie "the Gigolo" Fisher, known as great jazz componist. In general the whole track really doesn't make sense to me and isn't on top of the ladder, but i like it somehow.

"Funky Delicacies has released another album by the legendary Gene “Poo Poo Man” Anderson. Anderson's long and illustrious career spans the spectrum of St. Louis rhythm and blues, psych rock and soul, and continues to this day performing with George Clinton's Parliament Funkadelic. Tuff City’s last Gene Anderson release, The Hi Rhythm Sessions (STS LP 6362), was newsworthy because it contained the only recordings from Hi Studios, with all the ingredients of Al Green’s classic sound, ever to be released outside of the Hi imprint. With Cold Blooded Games in the Ghetto, we move forward with Anderson’s career to stellar funk and electro recordings that were among the best of the genre, yet unfortunately, were rarely heard outside of his St. Louis environs."
