I know this Awdio thing for quite a while now, but i never used it until yesterday night. I'm not a big fan of live broadcasts from clubs but to hear the last ever Optimo Party at Glasgow's legendary Sub Club yesterday was a real treat! So what's this Awdio about? It's easy. Awdio is a website and a web network which provides live broadcasts and streams from clubs and venues from all over the world in real time. Some well known clubs are listed, like Cookies in Berlin and Djoon in Paris, just to name a few.
You have to set up an account to get full access which comes with nice features like saving favourite shows to get newsletters and further information about events, dj's and timetables.
Nothing much known about this one here. Aliki is a solid boogie effort from UK with all those boogish ingredients you need to be happy. Although the voice of the singer needs a bit getting used to, Dancing Through The Night makes quite fun with its uplifting feeling. I imagine playing this in the early morning hours, just to give poeple their musical nutriants to dance into releaving sunrise. Not the worst idea, right?
The picture above is by William Homer, called "Summer Night-Dancing by Moonlight" from 1890.
We really had a lot of flea market trips and record fair visits over the last few months and this particular one here was one of those records which turned up quite a few times(needless to say that we're talking about records in our field of interest, not about the late Whitney Houstons and the countless UB 40's, although we hold them honorably).
Xalan is pure Italo sleaze, funnily enough, produced by the spanish brothers Tucho and Xeno Balado(i love these names!), offering tight slo-mo beats, italoized english and highly important lyrics, delicious cheese and scads of toms(in two versions, one in english and one in spanish). The arrangement is well made and makes fun to follow along.
To put the whole thing in a nutshell: This gem seems a bit overlooked and if you purchase one you get double satisfaction! The music on the one hand and the psyched out and beautiful gatefold cover(you can see it on the pics above) on the other hand. My copy is from Metrovynil, which makes it even more collectable in all.
Grab it, this will look extremely good in your record shelves!
(Quelle: wikipedia.org)
Our heading "Three Records to go for!!!" is meant to highlight you some records, mostly newer ones, that turned out into the bleepgeeks music radar through utterly coincidences, well researched record hunts or any other fortunate circumstances. The stuff we introduce can be dance music, comedy, non-dance music, originals, reissues, bootlegs or limited pieces, we don't separate!
In some cases we just liked the Cover of that Record, sometimes we made a mispurchase and sometimes our mandibles came off because of the music which was carved into the rills!
We won't do any reviews, puffing these records up to holy grails or slam them into wax garbage!
It's just made for you to (hopefully) discover new music and new sleeves! We wish you a lot of fun while finding these records at your local record shop on the streets or in your world wide virtual reality through clicking on to your favourite record stop!
This is a forgotten tune which possibly never reached the light because it has fallen too deep into nothing. Very respectable vocals, synths and drumming with a wavy character. By Müller-Thalhammer / Müller-Vates for WOM Music in 1984.

Today was a great day in the surrounding area of Ulm to refresh the mind. I've catched som' nice impressions (with my cheapo handy-cam) from a place called "Küssende Sau"; i would translate it into "Kissing Sod". It's near Blaubeuren at the foot of the Swabian Alb. Since 25.09.2009 it's nevermore allowed to climb it up because of danger of avalanche. Therefore i'm wondering how long this "little bridge" between this two big rocks will remain. So get there and see it in reality before it's too late!
There are som' more rocks around this hot spot whether climbing is partially allowed... Check it out!
... som' more rock around the spot...

Our friend Shanna June Pelling from Australia, who is running the ever interesting thenumber20 blog, sent us a cool mix with tasty nu disco and house nuggets, confidently brought together with nice and fruity pop moments! Listening to this makes a lot of fun and hey, it's friday, let the weekend start!!!
Australian Fashion imprint and bleepgeeks favourite Perks and Mini a.k.a. P.A.M. is coming over with more printed tees for their new collection. It's really interesting to see where they got their inspiration from. In this particular case it was no less a figure than legendary Chicago House producer Bam Bam from the States. Bam Bam had his heydays in the end of the eighties and no one knows what he is doing now. P.A.M. digs him out and P.A.M. does well!

Shofolk shoes seem to be the choice for your daily walk in the city or your evening standard at your favourite club and cafe. Ok, not a real secret anymore, but we're sure that Shofolk will be seen a lot more on feet in the future, even in Germany!
