Few Boys - Secret Times

Nice german wave-stuff with a trancy mood. From 1985, recorded and mixed at Dynaton Studio. Produced by Alexander Henninger and Michael Münzing.

Few Boys - Secret Times

Oreo Moon - Walk don't scream

It's not so easy to describe what's going on here. Is it Switalo (Swedish-Italo)? Is it Vocoder-Pop? Has it been produced in 1985 and released in 1983?? Doesn't really sound like that age... but somehow very chic...

Static - The Native Dance (The Native Dub)

Let's put some House to the box! This record is classic in every way! The Producer, the Record Label, even the source of the sample. Made by Todd Terry in the early nineties when Strictly Rhythm was in the starting blocks to get really big. The music has a fresh hip-hoppish feel to it and the man Terry, using an Arthur Russell sample in a good way, just makes me wanna move! And yes, i will move. For sure! Dancing anti-static!

A very moody ballad out of Italy, pitched down(-4) to create even more drama!

Sandy Marton - People From Ibiza

What a great video of this great classic. Sandy Marton fills the stadium with a keytar! What a crazy synthesizer on the boat at minute 1:30. Damned, i love it!

Zazou Bikaye - Angel

Quite a journey from Zazou Bikaye over twelve and a half minutes! It's weekend, take your time and listen!

Filmmusik und Geräusche by VRC Vienna - Several Carhorns

Sound Effects and recordings from Vienna, not only made to add sound to your homemade movies or your super-budget hollywood productions. You can use this in your dj-sets too, to make cool and useful transitions or to spice up some tracks with noises to make people go nuts! Let's start with some carhorns...

Filmmusik und Geräusche by VRC Vienna - Several Carhorns

Mickey Daniel - Obeah, the witch woman

This disco record does not sound like any other one. It's starting with a classical rhythm, but afterwards it slides into a unusual orchestral combination with a catchy story. Mickey Daniel is a really good teller and perfects the moody atmosphere. This record became more known during the last years. Interestingly it's rising up to 100 Dollars now. A really stand-alone record that should not to be mixed into others.

Caren and Connection - I'm a Woman (Sound Version)

Another one in the neverending ZYX-Saga. Recorded in the BRD in 1983, most likely at Studio No.1 in Pforzheim, where a lot of good and weird productions saw the light of the day in the early eighties. Caren and Connection seem to be a german studio band in my book, made alive by the myth-enshrouded Ralf Hennings. Ralf, we bless you!

Drawing above by the legendary David Shrigley.

Roman Grey - Shakedown (Dance Mix)

A solid eighties synth-pop production with a new-wavish feel and a slick bass by Roman Grey, who had a small but recognizable hit called "Look me in the Eyes" in 1982. This one here was sort of a follower in 1984, which came out on the british Food for Thought label(same label where Look me in the Eyes came out), but seemingly it got lost somewhere in the eighties between the other one hundred and one million releases. We grabbed it!

Roman Grey - Shakedown(Dance Mix)

Limon Wilson - Let's get to it

Superb voice, shitty instrumental, what else do you want as an 80s-soul-collector?

Limon Wilson - Let's get to it

Barbarella - Barbarella (The Irresistible Force Mix)

Oh my god, i feel so good when i listen to this. Thanks Mixmaster Morris for this great piece!
Without a doubt a classic on it's own.

15.05.2010 - bleepgeeks feat. STABIL ELITE Live! @ Eden, Ulm

Prepare your moonboots! We will have some visitors from outer Düsseldorf-Space this weekend.

Kennie Delta and Prana - Conquer All

Let's conquer all on Mercury. Makes more fun on a 12" than on 7" (as so often).

Kennie Delt and Prana - Conquer All

Benton Baptist - Looking Good

Always worth to listen at. This one's brings the boogiedance to the point.

Benton Baptist - Looking good

Quinn Martin - One More Mission

Great late eighties Italo by Quinn Martin which i sadly don't own as yet. Hope this arrives my recordbag soon...

Zini - Spaß am Dienstag

On the childrens tv in the 80's there was a guy talking with a yellow point ... Very strange for todays conditions (and for sure at that time as well).... but still nice indeed!

Drawdé - The last war

A hard topic combined with a cheapo sound. Very dramatic from 6:30 min. Produced in 1986.
Let's hear what the people speak on the record...

Compression - Get it together

Produced by Munich's Harald Faltermeier aka Harold Faltermeyer in 1976. He was working quite a while in the US as composer and became famous in the 80's due to the Axel F Theme. This record was released by Ariola.

Compression - Get it together
strictly for promotional use and for presentation only.
we will clear this snippet in a short period of time.

SkyWay - Love my Life

Made by G. Eckert in 1985 on Fellow Music.
Was this record made to dance? Or was the intention to be funky? I dunno. It's just a nice record listening to...

Three Records to go for!!! # 6

Our heading "Three Records to go for!!!" is meant to highlight you some records, mostly newer ones, that turned out into the bleepgeeks music radar through utterly coincidences, well researched record hunts or any other fortunate circumstances. The stuff we introduce can be dance music, comedy, non-dance music, originals, reissues, bootlegs or limited pieces, we don't separate!
In some cases we just liked the Cover of that Record, sometimes we made a mispurchase and sometimes our mandibles came off because of the music which was carved into the rills!
We won't do any reviews, puffing these records up to holy grails or slam them into wax garbage!
It's just made for you to (hopefully) discover new music and new sleeves! We wish you a lot of fun while finding these records at your local record shop on the streets or in your world wide virtual reality through clicking on to your favourite record stop!

Vinyl, we love you lock, stock and barrell!

Morphosis - Musafir EP

The Nathaniel X Project - The Resurrxion E.P.

Various - ?

Ray Martinez - The Natives Are Restless

Found this for cheap money on a recent trip to Zurich. Nothing too obscure or unknown, in marked contrast. Featured in a lot of playlists and even on a fabric club cd, The Natives Are Restless is a little shiny tool were not much is happening. You know what? It doesn't have to! A groaning female voice and tribal disco beats which really make fun to mix! You should try, especially in the early morning hours. Other offerings on this 12 inch vary from string laden disco to little cheesy "spirit of the age" productions. I'm happy i found this!
